Taste Lancashire 08 is a year to celebrate Lancashire's locally produced food and drink. The scheme is being run in association with Liverpool 08 European Capital of Culture,and highlights will include special events, festivals and promotions championing accredited eateries, local producers, farmers' markets, young chefs and fine local food and drink.

The Bay Horse Inn

The Bay Horse Inn has been established as a respected Inn and Restaurant since 1992, which is run by joint proprietors Brian, Mae and Craig Wilkinson.

Craig Wilkinson has set about providing modern british cuisine with more than a slant towards the contemporary. Craig insists on using the freshest local produce from the Forest of Bowland, Lakeland fells and local farms from all over Lancashire.
