Storey Gallery

The Storey Gallery situated in the Storey Institute provides one of the best exhibition spaces in the north west of England. It has excellent natural light and its qualities have been highly praised by exhibiting artists. The Storey Gallery aims to provide opportunities for local people to see exhibitions of high quality contemporary art. There have been one-person exhibitions by Gillian Ayres, Basil Beattie, Michael Brennand-Wood, Andy Goldsworthy, Anthony Green, Albert Irvin, Michael Kenny, a retrospective by John Hoskin, and touring shows from the Arts Council and also from Spain and Italy.

Road Directions

From the M6 Junction 33 or 34 follow signs to Lancaster City Centre, on the one way system turn left at the traffic lights by Waterstones bookshop. The Storey Gallery is 50 metres on the right hand side.
