Lancaster University Campus

Lancaster University opened in 1964 and has grown in size and excellence ever since. Together, the University and St Martin's College have over 18,000 students. The University is amongst the top ten research centres in British institutions of higher education.

Visitors are welcome at the Bailrigg Campus and there are a number of speciality shops, various financial services outlets, a supermarket and car sales outlet, together with the Peter Scott Gallery, Nuffield Theatre and the new Ruskin Library (please see separate listings for details of these attractions).
