1912, An industrial town in the North Midlands.

Early evening: A young working class woman dies a horrible, untimely death.

Mid evening: The proporous Birling family enjoy a cosy celebration for their daughter, Sheila’s, engagement. An Inspector calls and joins the party.

Late evening: The Birling family are left to pick up the pieces of a shattered family unit.

This classic, psychological thriller creeps under the skin and strikes right at the bone, resonating as deeply and clearly today as it did the day the play was written.
