Glasson Maritime Weekend - Easter 2008 (21st to 24th March)

Glasson is a small, characterful C18th working port, 4½ miles south west of Lancaster, on the River Lune estuary, where the Lancaster Canal meets the sea. Lancaster District's 20th annual maritime celebration, will feature the world's biggest gathering of sea-song and shanty singers; a Georgian press gang and a vast array of maritime-themed entertainments and activities.
