The Globe in Overton is a famous 17th Century Inn, renowned for our splendid facilities, exceptional chef, peaceful location, excellent real ales, warm welcome and colourful past. Along with our hand-picked staff, the freshest of ingredients and the creativity of our chef, we are ready to spoil you and do hope you will join us. Our traditional inn, located in the Morecambe area of England's north/west offers a restaurant, six guest rooms, including a four poster room and caters for lunches, evening meals, parties, business functions.
Located at the gateway to the infamous Sunderland Point, The Globe is steeped in history and hospitality that has been around since the 1600's. The Globe was always a regular haunt for sailors and locals in the area and today extends that warmth and welcome to modern travellers, visitors and residents of the area alike. We are ideally located for exploring the coastal resort of Morecambe, the historic city of Lancaster and the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District. All these delights are easily accessible by the many road links that are nearby or the excellent public transport that is also conveniently close.

Leave the M6 at jct 33 or 34. Take the A683 to Heysham, Morecambe. After 2.5 miles take the left for Overton. After 1 mile take another left, follow the road through the village.
From Lancaster train station go through the one-way system in Lancaster and over Greyhound Bridge. Follow signs for Heysham and then Overton.
